Bio 

    Born into an artistic family, Magda Markarians studied classical piano with Haynoush Magaryan, a graduate of Munich Academy of music. 

     

     Ever since young age, Magda has performed numerous concerts, and has been part of the fixed panel of adjudicators for the piano competition/concerts series at Ararat cultural center.

 

     Apart from performance career, Markarians has been an active piano pedagog for the past 40 years. Her most important contribution to the society of musicians and piano pedagogs, has been her method which is named after her, The Markarians Method. Students who diligently and patiently studied this method, now occupy important positions in the society across the world, such as music faculties, piano pedagogs, and orchestral Conductors.

 

     Magda Markarians still continues to educate and oversees her method to be implemented accurately by other pedagogs.
